My Citizen Science Projects

I love contributing to various "citizen science" projects--things where I can buy a sensor or a raspberry pi, set it up, and contribute data to a larger project. Someday I will talk more about each of these projects that I contribute to, but for now I'm just collecting high-level links to the projects and my data within those projects, if possible.

ADS-B

I have a Raspberry PI running SkyAware. It uses a software defined radio to listen to ADS-B signals, and it publishes the data to several aggregators including FlightAware.

BirdNet:

I have a Raspberry Pi running BirdNET-Pi that listens for bird sounds and uses AI to identify them. It uploads them to an aggregator at birdweather.com.

PurpleAir:
